Electrician - Level II

About the role

The Level II Electrician (Maintenance Engineer) ensures the availability, reliability and performance of electrical systems, utilities and manufacturing equipment across the plant. The role supports preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance while driving continuous‑improvement initiatives to meet safety, quality and productivity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, report hazards and use appropriate PPE.
• Perform electrical repairs, preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Support equipment uptime, conduct downtime analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with electrical codes, standards and quality procedures.
• Identify manufacturing constraints, support process‑automation projects and participate in TPM activities.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and maintenance teams and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics or a related field.
• Additional certifications in electrical maintenance or automation are preferred.
• May require compliance‑related licensing (e.g., export control regulations).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience with industrial control systems.
• Understanding of factory automation concepts.
