About the role
Schaeffler India Ltd. is seeking a Quality Planning Technician to support its automotive, aerospace and industrial customers. The role focuses on programming and operating Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure product quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Program and operate Zeiss CMM systems for inspection tasks.
- Perform drawing study and layout inspections.
- Inspect new products and incoming parts using CMM technology.
- Document inspection results and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 7 years of hands‑on experience with CMM programming and inspection.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and inspection standards.
Required skills
- Zeiss CMM programming.
- CMM inspection techniques.
- Drawing study and layout inspection.
- New product and incoming parts inspection.
