Electrician

About the role

The Electrician will support the Engineering Supervisor in maintaining and caring for all electrical equipment at Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. The role ensures that all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure smooth electrical operations and guest service.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment, identifying cost‑effective resource use.
• Perform repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using test equipment and verify safety and efficiency of motors, heaters, and controls.
• Inspect circuits for proper shielding and grounding, and ensure compliance with fire alarm system requirements.
• Keep work areas clean, follow safety guidelines, and support the hotel’s environmental charter.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of the hotel’s electrical system, circuits, loads and limits.
• Familiarity with fire alarm systems and related safety standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple hotel departments.
