Electrician

About the role

The Electrician will support the Engineering Supervisor in maintaining and caring for all electrical equipment at Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. The role ensures that all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with the hotel’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure smooth electrical operations and high guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment, and identify cost‑effective resource use.
• Perform repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems, including fixtures, circuits, and fire alarm systems.
• Locate and diagnose electrical malfunctions using standard test equipment.
• Test motors, heaters, and controls for safety and efficiency.
• Inspect circuits for proper shielding and grounding.
• Uphold workplace cleanliness, safety guidelines, and the hotel’s environmental charter.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of the property’s electrical system, circuits, and load capacities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple hotel departments.
• Strong record‑keeping and cost‑management skills.
