Electrical Site Engineer – Railway Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to lead electrical works on railway infrastructure projects across multiple locations in India. You will ensure that all electrical installations, testing and commissioning are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical works for Railway bridges, Road Over Bridges (ROB), rail corridors and related construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, railway authorities and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, testing and commissioning activities.
• Review contractor progress, verify measurements and maintain accurate project records and reports.
• Monitor project schedules, resolve technical and site‑related issues and support the project management team.
• Visit project sites as required based on instructions from the Authority.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Degree holders: minimum 3 years of relevant experience; Diploma holders: minimum 5 years.
• Experience in railway bridge, rail infrastructure, or Road Over Bridge construction projects.
• Preferably experience with electrical installations, testing, commissioning and coordination with railway authorities.
• One electrical personnel preferably a retired railway employee.
