Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Weld & Press Shop

About the role

KSH Automotive is seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to support its Weld Shop and Press Shop operations in Penukonda, Andhra Pradesh. You will be responsible for ensuring high equipment availability and reliability in a fast‑paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, electrical panels and control systems.
• Maintain robotic welding systems, spot‑welding machines and press‑shop equipment.
• Carry out hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical maintenance of presses, welding fixtures, robots, conveyors, compressors and utility equipment.
• Implement TPM and safety practices to minimise machine downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.

Required profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–12 years of experience in automotive manufacturing maintenance (preferred).
• Proven ability to work in a shop‑floor environment and follow safety standards.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Motors, drives and sensor integration.
• Electrical panels and control system maintenance.
• Robotic welding system upkeep.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic system repair.
• Presses, welding fixtures, conveyors and compressors maintenance.
