Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety and optimal performance of all electrical equipment within an industrial plant. The role involves executing both scheduled and emergency maintenance activities, supporting projects, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly electrical maintenance plans in coordination with plant maintenance teams.
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on rotating and static electrical assets.
• Develop and standardise test procedures and best‑practice guidelines for electrical equipment.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, track levels and ensure availability of critical components.
• Conduct risk assessments, obtain permits and follow HSE standards for all critical tasks.
• Support MOC (Management of Change) and CAPEX projects, ensuring flawless implementation.
• Participate in budgeting, cost analysis and root‑cause investigations, applying recommendations promptly.
• Maintain compliance documentation and ensure adherence to plant safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical or related) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or plant environment.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, risk assessment procedures and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
