Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Aromatics

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical equipment in an aromatics plant. The role combines scheduled and emergency maintenance, inventory control, and continuous improvement to support plant productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans for electrical systems, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance to maximise equipment availability.
• Carry out critical electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and component refurbishment.
• Manage spare‑part inventory, including identification, tracking, inspection and standardisation of critical spares.
• Conduct task‑based risk assessments, obtain permits and ensure compliance with HSEF standards.
• Implement Management of Change (MOC) procedures and CAPEX projects.
• Participate in cost budgeting, root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Develop and standardise test procedures and best‑practice guidelines for electrical equipment.

Required profile

• Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical issues in an industrial setting.
• Experience with cost analysis, budgeting and resource planning for maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of HSEF safety and compliance standards.
• Capability to perform risk assessments and work with permit‑to‑work systems.
