Electrical Engineer – Power System Consulting

About the role

ETAP is looking for a passionate Electrical Engineer to join its Mumbai team. You will provide power system consulting and engineering support to global clients, using industry‑leading software to design, analyse, and optimise electrical networks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform power system studies such as load flow, short‑circuit, motor start, transient stability, relay coordination, arc‑flash, harmonic, EMI, traction simulation and renewable energy analyses.
• Design and review electrical distribution, industrial control and renewable energy systems.
• Troubleshoot site incidents, tripping events and provide technical support to customers.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations and workshop materials for clients.
• Deliver training on ETAP software and related tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong academic and practical knowledge of power system studies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ETAP, CDEGS, PLSCAD and ETRAX software.
• Experience in power system analysis (load flow, short‑circuit, stability, etc.).
• Ability to design and review electrical distribution and control systems.
