Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the design and engineering activities of our chemical, fertilizer and oil & gas projects. Working under the guidance of senior lead engineers, you will gain hands‑on experience with power system studies and contribute to multiple project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical design tasks under the supervision of Lead or Co‑Lead engineers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed engineering and procurement documents such as data sheets, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase requests.
• Conduct vendor drawing reviews for small‑package, non‑critical electrical equipment.
• Carry out lighting calculations and layout engineering activities.
• Use ETAP software to execute load‑flow, short‑circuit and motor‑starting studies for simple systems.
• Identify scope changes and communicate them to lead engineers.
• Support multiple projects as a task‑force engineer, delivering assigned activities on schedule.

Required profile

• Previous experience or exposure to projects in chemicals, fertilizers, or oil & gas sectors.
• Ability to work under senior engineering guidance and follow established procedures.
• Willingness to learn and develop engineering calculation skills, including ETAP studies.
• Strong attention to detail in document preparation and vendor review.

Required skills

• ETAP power system study software (load flow, short‑circuit, motor starting).
• Lighting calculation tools.
• Python programming (preferred).
• Advanced Excel.
• Business Intelligence (BI) tools (preferred).
