Elder Care Specialist

About the role

The Elder Care Specialist joins 50 Plus Assist to provide compassionate, person‑centered support to seniors living at home in Delhi. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on enhancing quality of life through daily assistance, health monitoring, and coordinated care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist seniors with routine activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Monitor health indicators, record observations, and report changes to medical and therapy teams.
• Provide dementia care support, intellectual companionship, and emotional guidance.
• Facilitate physiotherapy sessions and encourage participation in mental‑health and cognitive‑training activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, communicate regularly with families, and follow organizational protocols.

Required profile

• Experience in elder care, dementia care, or geriatric support.
• Relevant education or training in nursing, social work, psychology, physiotherapy, or gerontology (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust with seniors and families.
• Professional integrity, patience, empathy, and discretion in sensitive situations.
