About the role

Leila Day Care Centre is seeking a caring, compassionate and knowledgeable Early Childhood Educator (ECE 2) for a permanent full‑time position. The role involves providing quality care and education to children aged 12 months to 12 years in a licensed centre that serves up to 71 children year‑round.

Key responsibilities

• Work the scheduled hours of 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, with occasional split‑shift arrangements as required by the centre.
• Supervise and engage children across the full age range, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Maintain compliance with licensing standards for a centre licensed for 71 children.

Required profile

• Demonstrated caring, compassion and reliability in a childcare setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood education practices.
• Ability to work the specified hours and adapt to split‑shift needs.
