Doctor – Full‑time Clinical Position in Trivandrum

About the role

Aster DM Quality Care Ltd is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Doctor to join its tertiary‑care hospital in Trivandrum. You will deliver evidence‑based clinical care, assess patients, diagnose conditions, order and interpret investigations, and create appropriate treatment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered clinical care across a range of specialties.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during rounds, case discussions and clinical decision‑making.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical protocols, regulatory standards and infection‑control guidelines.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and health‑education activities for patients and families.
• Contribute to teaching, training and research projects where applicable.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid medical council registration.
• Completed internship; postgraduate specialization (MD/MS/DNB) is an advantage.
• Demonstrated competence in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and follow‑up.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, ethical practice and evidence‑based care.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on‑call duties as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital health records.
• Experience using clinical information systems.
• Ability to operate decision‑support tools.
