Distribution Planner

About the role

The Fuel Distribution Planner will join the India Fuels & Logistics Global Capability Centre of Alimentation Couche‑Tard. The role focuses on maintaining optimal fuel stock levels across the supply chain, minimizing distribution costs, and supporting the global growth of the Fuels & Logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute cost‑effective fuel supply for the truck fleet, targeting the lowest unit cost.
• Summarise planning indicators, perform analyses and produce regular reports.
• Achieve operational goals such as HSE compliance, load and drop size optimisation, productivity, and internal P&L targets.
• Coordinate with supply, sourcing, operations, and business‑unit fuel teams to ensure an efficient value chain.
• Handle operational issues and calls during assigned shifts, providing timely solutions.
• Support improvement projects and new system implementations.
• Monitor fuel station inventories to guarantee sufficient stock levels.
• Recommend multiple planning approaches to stakeholders, outlining pros and cons.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 2‑4 years of experience in logistics or operations planning.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts covering 24 × 7 operations.
