Distributed Technical Advisor – Infrastructure Services

About the role

The Distributed Technical Advisor – Infrastructure Services is a senior, hands‑on technical leader responsible for complex distributed infrastructure and private cloud environments. Reporting to the on‑shore Lead TA, the role drives cross‑tower coordination, major incident leadership and client engagement while working primarily US business hours from India.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical focal point for high‑value strategic clients, understanding infrastructure, critical services and dependencies.
• Lead coordination across OS, Virtualization, Network, Storage, Middleware, Database and VDI towers to resolve complex issues.
• Provide senior technical leadership during Major Incidents and critical escalations, focusing on MTTR and SLA commitments.
• Coach engineering teams on advanced troubleshooting, automation and service‑reliability improvements.
• Partner with the on‑shore Lead TA to align priorities, risks and technical recommendations across India and US time zones.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, data‑center or private‑cloud environments.
• Deep hands‑on expertise with Windows Server, enterprise Linux and VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Proven client‑facing experience with senior technical stakeholders and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience supporting US‑based clients in a global delivery model and willingness to work early‑morning India shifts.
