Director of People & Culture (Bengaluru)

About the role

The Hoxton is launching its first neighbourhood hotel in Asia in Bengaluru and seeks a senior HR leader to shape the people strategy, culture and talent experience for the new property.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to advise on all people‑related matters and support team wellbeing.
• Implement and maintain HR policies, processes and procedures in full compliance with Indian employment law.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies that position The Hoxton as an employer of choice and build a strong talent pipeline.
• Collaborate with department heads and the L&D Manager to design development pathways and career progression plans.
• Champion The Hoxton values, fostering a safe, inclusive and engaging workplace culture.
• Lead talent review cycles, including coffee chats, annual reviews and succession planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior HR leadership, preferably within hospitality or a fast‑growing international brand.
• Deep knowledge of Indian labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Track record of building effective recruitment and talent development programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
