Director, Business Development & Strategy – Global Content Sales

About the role

The Director of Business Development & Strategy will shape and execute growth initiatives for A+E Global Media’s international FAST (Free‑Ad‑Supported Television) distribution and emerging digital content licensing opportunities. Working closely with Global Content Sales leadership, you will drive revenue expansion across multiple markets while influencing senior decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development projects across international FAST platforms, strategic distribution partners and new digital media channels.
• Manage and deepen relationships with existing FAST partners worldwide.
• Identify, evaluate and structure new market opportunities, partnership models and commercial business plans aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Conduct complex strategic and financial analyses, preparing executive‑level presentations to support key decisions.
• Monitor business performance, market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Proven commercial acumen and financial rigor in a senior business development or strategy role.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation and relationship‑management capabilities.
• Experience influencing senior executives and leading cross‑functional initiatives.
• Background in media, content licensing or digital distribution preferred.
