Dining Attendant – Hotel Guest Service

About the role

The Dining Attendant will be the first point of contact for guests in the hotel’s dining area, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience throughout breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to their seats and provide menus or information on food and beverage options.
• Set up and clear tables, maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
• Stock and arrange buffet or service stations, ensuring they are consistently tidy and fully supplied.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to guarantee timely service and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Handle basic billing, order notation and assist with any guest inquiries.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene standards, reporting any issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or food‑and‑beverage service (restaurant, café or hotel).
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow hygiene protocols.
• Basic numeracy and organizational skills for order handling and simple billing.
• Reliability, punctuality and willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform active tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum high school education; hospitality training or certification is a plus.
