Digital UX/UI Internship – Corporate Analytics

About the role

This paid internship offers a hands‑on experience in digital UX/UI design within Airbus India’s IIDM department, focusing on corporate analytics tools and AI/ML interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Support the end‑to‑end design lifecycle, including wireframing, user journey mapping, and high‑fidelity UI creation.
• Assist in designing intuitive interfaces for AI/ML tools, computer‑vision workflows, and complex enterprise platforms.
• Organise and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, contextual interviews, and usability testing.
• Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of tokenised design systems and component libraries in Figma.
• Build interactive prototypes to communicate micro‑interactions, layout flows, and visual hierarchy to developers and product managers.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• High empathy, passion for user‑centred problem solving, and strong communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, ProtoPie, and Framer.
• Basic knowledge of web front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS/Tailwind, React components).
• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2).
• Experience with user research and usability testing tools like Maze and UserTesting.
