DevOps Platform Operations Engineer (SME)

About the role

Join Bosch Global Software Technologies as a DevOps Platform Operations Engineer, focusing on Linux‑based applications, containerisation, and Kubernetes cluster management. You will support manufacturing IT applications and ensure high‑quality service delivery aligned with client SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Configure Linux applications, build Docker images, and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Perform deployments, version upgrades, and patching using GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Helm).
• Monitor, log, and orchestrate Docker workloads on Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot network issues such as subnets, DNS, and FQDN within clusters.
• Provide L1/L2 support, handle service tickets, and resolve user queries across multiple channels.
• Collaborate on incident resolution for Manufacturing IT infrastructure.
• Maintain service quality in line with defined KPIs and SLAs.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of experience in system administration and DevOps.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and ownership mindset.
• Educational background: B.E/B.Tech, M.Tech or MCA.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows system administration.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher.
• Helm charts, ArgoCD (GitOps).
• Basic networking: subnets, DNS, FQDN, IP networking, ingress, load balancing.
• CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Docker registry, GitHub Actions, Artifactory.
• ITIL Service Management (Incident, Change, Problem).
