DevOps Engineer

About the role

Phoeniqs Technologies is seeking a remote DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operate sovereign cloud platforms for enterprise clients in finance, healthcare, and government. You will work at the intersection of automation, Kubernetes, GitOps, and containerised workloads, helping organisations migrate from legacy systems to secure, high‑performance environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi‑tenant OpenShift platforms.
• Install, configure and manage OpenShift clusters in staging and production.
• Deploy and manage storage solutions such as OpenShift Data Foundation and Ceph.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible and FluxCD.
• Develop Helm charts and Kustomize configurations within a GitOps model.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and implement Prometheus‑based observability.
• Manage security integrations, TLS certificates and Keycloak authentication.
• Support relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ensure high‑availability deployments.

Required profile

• Solid experience with modern CI/CD practices and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Hands‑on expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Kustomize and OpenShift.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools such as FluxCD or ArgoCD.
• Experience with storage platforms like OpenShift Data Foundation or Ceph.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash) and programming (Go or Python).
