DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing B2B travel‑tech startup looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate highly available cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with founders and senior engineers to deliver world‑class products that power travel agents worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or self‑managed).
• Set up observability – logging, monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog or New Relic.
• Drive cost optimisation, capacity planning and scaling initiatives.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, RCA and blameless post‑mortems.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve reliability.
• Maintain security posture of cloud resources, including IAM policies and network security.

• Database technologies: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ
• Configuration management: Ansible
• Security fundamentals: IAM, VPC, network security
