DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on DevOps Engineer who loves automation, cloud infrastructure and reliability engineering. The position blends DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering and system administration in a remote‑first environment, allowing you to design, build and keep large‑scale systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Architect, provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (primary) with exposure to GCP and Azure, using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Monitor systems, investigate alerts and debug environment issues to ensure high reliability.
• Drive security compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001), enforce governance policies and track infrastructure budgets.
• Administer Google Workspace, remote assets and user accounts across various applications and services.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of relevant experience with a strong desire to learn and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote‑first culture.
• Proven debugging expertise in Linux environments and cloud platforms.

Required skills

• Linux (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, RedHat, CentOS)
• AWS cloud infrastructure
• Infrastructure as Code – Terraform or Pulumi
• Docker workflow automation
• PostgreSQL fundamentals
• Programming/scripting in Python, Go, JavaScript or Bash
• Exposure to GCP or Azure (nice‑to‑have)
• Familiarity with New Relic, Ansible and MDM solutions (nice‑to‑have)
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks such as CIS benchmarks (nice‑to‑have)
