DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & CI/CD

About the role

SmartBear is looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to join a globally distributed engineering team. You will own cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and operational reliability while collaborating with developers and product owners across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, covering build, test, security scanning and multi‑environment deployments.
• Provision and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS (primary) and Azure using Terraform, following IaC best practices.
• Deploy, configure, and operate containerised workloads on Kubernetes with Helm charts; manage cluster lifecycle, namespaces, RBAC and networking policies.
• Create and maintain Docker images and container registries, enforcing image security scanning and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling in Python and Bash to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on DevOps experience in cloud‑native environments.
• Strong collaborative mindset, comfortable working with distributed teams in Bengaluru, Poland, Ireland and the United States.
• Proactive attitude toward reliability, security and continuous improvement.
