DevOps Engineer – CI/CD, Docker & Python Apps

About the role

Harshwal Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its team in Jaipur. You will be responsible for building and hardening the infrastructure that powers our Lease Accounting Tool and related applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI pipelines (GitHub Actions) to run 278 automated tests on every pull request.
• Manage Docker‑Compose deployments across dev, QA and production, ensuring zero‑downtime rebuilds and secret handling.
• Implement a Redis‑backed, production‑grade rate‑limit store for multi‑instance scaling.
• Own secret rotation, TLS termination and JWT/session secret enforcement.
• Set up centralized monitoring and alerting for uptime, error rates and MongoDB health.
• Maintain the branch promotion workflow (feature → dev → QA → main) according to the documented Git strategy.
• Develop backup, restore and rollback runbooks for MongoDB‑backed services.
• Collaborate with developers to keep CI drift‑gate scripts synchronized between backend and frontend.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Proven experience with Docker, Docker‑Compose and multi‑environment deployments.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline design, preferably using GitHub Actions.
• Experience deploying Python web applications (Flask or FastAPI) with gunicorn/uvicorn and Nginx.
• Solid knowledge of MongoDB operations, backups and indexing.
• Familiarity with secrets management, JWT, TLS and environment hardening.
