Developer Relations Engineer (Developer Advocate)

About the role

Sarvam is building a sovereign AI platform for India and needs a Developer Relations Engineer who can bridge the gap between its APIs and the developer community. You will create demos, cookbooks, and technical content that showcase what can be built with Sarvam’s models, while feeding developer feedback back to the product team.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end cookbook recipes and demos (voice agents, multilingual RAG, document AI, Indic‑language apps) with “Open in Colab” notebooks.
• Create technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, quickstarts, and deliver talks, livestreams, and videos.
• Develop and document integrations with platforms like LiveKit, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vercel AI SDK, and Pipecat.
• Identify friction in the developer journey, improve the Python SDK, TypeScript adapter, and documentation site.
• Monitor SDK installs, cookbook usage, error rates, and integration adoption to surface actionable insights.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience as a software engineer, developer advocate, or technical content creator with code shipped to real users.
• Strong written communication; able to explain code clearly to first‑time developers.
• Genuine curiosity about language, speech, and large language models, especially for Indian languages.
• Ability to work independently, turn loosely defined briefs into polished deliverables.

Required skills

• Python programming

• SDK development and documentation
