Developer I

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Developer I to join United’s application ecosystem team. The role offers hands‑on experience building cloud‑enabled applications using .NET and React while working closely with senior developers in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance application features using .NET (and related frameworks) and React under supervision.
• Assist in implementing cloud‑native components and services following established design patterns.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform basic unit testing.
• Work with APIs, integration points, and front‑end/back‑end workflows with senior support.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, clarify requirements, and deliver assigned tasks.
• Support troubleshooting, bug fixes, and follow DevOps processes, contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously learn newer tools, technologies, and engineering practices.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of .NET and JavaScript frameworks.
• Eagerness to learn cloud‑native engineering and modern application development.
• Ability to follow detailed technical guidance and implement tasks accurately.
• Good problem‑solving attitude and willingness to ask questions.
• Effective collaboration and communication within an Agile Scrum team.

Required skills

• .NET and related frameworks

• PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Basic understanding of AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS)
• Introductory exposure to Redis and Kafka
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
