Design Engineer – Mechanical (SolidWorks)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Diploma Mechanical Engineer with strong SolidWorks expertise to join our team in Pune (Bhosari). The role focuses on creating 2D drawings and 3D models, preparing technical documentation, and supporting product development and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Prepare detailed part drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials.
• Modify and update existing designs according to project requirements.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Assist in product development and improvement activities.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings and revisions.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards and industry practices.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with SolidWorks.
• Good understanding of mechanical components, fabrication drawings, and basic GD&T.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
