Deputy Manager – Engine Assembly Production Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Team Member to lead the Engine Assembly production engineering function at our engine shop in Penukonda, Andhra Pradesh. The role will be responsible for overseeing machining and assembly processes, ensuring high precision, quality, and timely delivery of new engine models.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engine assembly operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop, refine and implement assembly processes and work instructions.
• Analyse production data, identify inefficiencies and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes, improvements and technical specifications.
• Provide technical support and training to assembly line staff.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist with troubleshooting and maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 10‑12 years of experience in engine assembly processes and new model introductions.
• Proven experience in production engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information.
