Deputy Manager - Digital Engineering

About the role

As Deputy Manager – Digital Engineering you will lead and support Industry 4.0, connectivity and digital engineering initiatives that enable smart manufacturing, connected value chains and data‑driven decision making for Bosch’s Bengaluru operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Industry 4.0 and Connected Industry solutions across manufacturing and logistics.
• Develop machine connectivity and IIoT solutions using industrial communication technologies.
• Support MES/MAS deployment, data integration and digital shop‑floor initiatives.
• Create dashboards, reports and analytics solutions with Power BI or Tableau.
• Drive AI/ML, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring and automation projects.
• Design digital engineering artefacts such as data models, simulations and digital twins.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver smart‑factory and digital‑transformation projects.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• MBA/M.Tech in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Business Analytics or related field (preferred).
• 6‑8 years of experience in Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing or digital engineering roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proven project and stakeholder management abilities.
