Delivery Executive – Railway Food Delivery

About the role

The Delivery Executive will join Taste Of Town Restaurant in Damoh to transport freshly prepared meals directly to railway passengers. Working full‑time on‑site, you will ensure timely, hygienic delivery of orders to travelers at the local railway station.

Key responsibilities

• Collect prepared orders from the kitchen and verify packaging accuracy.
• Plan and follow delivery routes to railway stations in Damoh and surrounding areas.
• Handle cash and digital payments, issue receipts and maintain simple transaction records.
• Provide courteous service, answer basic customer queries and report any issues to management.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout the delivery process.
• Keep delivery logs and support the team during peak service periods.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school education.
• Prior experience in food delivery or service is an advantage.
• Physically able to stand and walk for long periods and manage multiple deliveries under time pressure.
• Responsible, punctual, trustworthy and attentive to order accuracy.
• Good knowledge of local railway routes around Damoh.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of food‑and‑beverage hygiene and handling practices.
• Customer‑service orientation with a polite and solution‑focused attitude.
• Basic accounting skills for handling payments and simple record‑keeping.
• Comfortable using a mobile phone for calls, messaging and order coordination; familiarity with digital payment apps is a plus.
