Data Scientist

About the role

Celonis is looking for a Data Scientist to join its Data Analytics and Transformation team in Bangalore. You will develop data‑driven insights, build statistical and machine learning models, and communicate findings to engineers, managers and executives in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data‑driven insights and decision‑making applications focused on operational processes.
• Produce regular reporting and analysis for business leaders.
• Build, document and maintain innovative operational processes with an emphasis on automation.
• Mobilize internal and external stakeholders using project‑management skills.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity through continuous audit and review.
• Conduct in‑depth analytic investigations to answer business questions and support product or engineering ideas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Product Analyst, Data Engineer or similar in a SaaS or enterprise software company.
• Hands‑on experience with analytic tools such as Celonis EMS, Tableau, Qlik, Looker or Power BI.
• Strong decision‑making skills, ability to prioritize multiple objectives and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
• Experience working in agile teams using collaboration software like Jira.
