Data Scientist & AI/ML Instructor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist who is passionate about teaching to design and deliver hands‑on AI/ML courses. You will combine industry expertise with instructional skills to prepare students for real‑world AI challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and teach project‑based courses covering Python for ML, statistics, algorithms, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, MLOps and Generative AI.
• Develop and continuously update curriculum to reflect current tools, techniques and industry best practices.
• Mentor student projects, providing technical direction, code reviews and feedback aligned with professional standards.
• Guide students on career paths, internship preparation and job placement in AI/ML.
• Incorporate the latest research, tools and trends into classroom material.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Create and assess assignments and projects focused on real‑world applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML or a related field (PhD valued).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as an AI/ML Engineer, Data Scientist or Research Scientist in industry.
• Proven track record of building, training and deploying machine‑learning and deep‑learning models.
• Strong understanding of core algorithms, model evaluation, statistics and current AI research.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring, with prior experience in corporate training, workshops or project supervision.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Python programming.
• Data‑science libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn.
• Deep‑learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• SQL and data handling.
• MLOps tools: Git, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Domain knowledge in NLP, Computer Vision and Generative AI/LLMs.
