Data Quality - BCBS239 - Remediation

About the role

Capco is looking for experienced Data Quality consultants to join a key client engagement focused on data quality transformation and regulatory compliance. The role will deliver Data Quality Remediation and Transformation Plan actions aligned with BCBS239 requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support a Data Quality Management framework across business and technology domains.
• Perform data profiling, validation and reconciliation across multiple banking datasets.
• Identify, track and remediate data quality issues, supporting Issue Management & Remediation (IMR) processes.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring data quality problems and define data quality rules, metrics and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain DQ dashboards and reports for management reporting.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance or Data Management.
• Strong knowledge of the banking domain, especially risk, finance and regulatory reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience in data profiling, cleansing and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with issue‑management tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
