Data Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

The Data Quality Assurance Analyst will lead quality assurance activities for our Data & BI Implementation team. You will ensure data accuracy, enforce industry‑best QA practices, and drive continuous improvement across the data warehouse lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, monitor and report on QA metrics while developing new tools and processes to meet quality goals.
• Maintain data accuracy in SQL databases and SSIS packages.
• Document tested features, identified bugs, and performance‑optimization needs.
• Act as the primary QA contact for releases, coordinating internal and external testing resources.
• Create, review and execute manual and automated test cases, scripts, plans and procedures.
• Conduct full test cycles (unit, regression, functional, system, stress, smoke, sanity) for Data/BI solutions.
• Diagnose defects, track them to resolution and ensure testing aligns with the test plan schedule and quality standards.
• Collaborate with data warehouse architects, ETL leads and BI developers to design and run test scenarios across development, test and production environments.
• Perform BI UX testing, ETL runs and maintain quality monitoring dashboards and reports.

Required profile

• Strong written communication skills for clear documentation of test results and defects.
• Proven ability to coordinate QA activities and act as a point of contact during releases.
• Experience diagnosing defects and managing their lifecycle.
• Ability to work closely with architects, developers and ETL teams.
