Data Privacy Consultant – Cyber Team

About the role

As a Data Privacy Consultant within Deloitte's Cyber Team, you will help clients protect personal information and comply with emerging privacy regulations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to embed privacy controls into business processes and technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data protection policies and procedures aligned with applicable privacy laws.
• Conduct assessments to identify privacy risks and design mitigation strategies.
• Monitor data processing activities to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Guide clients through Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and risk assessments.
• Design and implement privacy frameworks, processes, and controls for client environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, CIPPE are preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of data protection laws, especially India’s Personal Data Protection Bill.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, information technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
