Data Center Technician (DCO)

About the role

Join Amazon's Data Center Operations team to maintain and expand the world’s largest cloud infrastructure. As a Data Center Technician (DCO), you will work on‑site in a high‑performance environment, ensuring servers, networking, power and cooling systems run smoothly for AWS customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and de‑install server racks and related hardware.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, storage, networking and power equipment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and respond to emergent incidents affecting operational stability.
• Serve as primary contact for internal teams (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external partners (hardware vendors, contractors, service providers).
• Log and resolve trouble tickets within defined SLAs using the assigned workflow.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems in a data‑center environment.
• Strong background in hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site and respond to urgent operational issues.
