Data Analyst, Risk

About the role

Join Google’s Trust & Safety team as a Data Analyst, Risk. You will use data‑driven insights to protect users and partners from abuse, fraud, and other threats across Google products such as Search, Maps, Gmail, and Ads.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and solve complex problems using data and statistical methods.
• Identify, investigate, and prevent fraud and abuse incidents.
• Improve tools and automated systems through data analysis and technical expertise.
• Present findings and recommendations to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, including trend identification, summary statistics, and insight generation.
• At least 2 years of experience managing projects and defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, or C++.
• Familiarity with machine‑learning systems.
