Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard our systems, networks, and data against evolving cyber threats. The role combines proactive security monitoring, incident response, and compliance management to maintain a robust security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor systems and networks for threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implement and manage security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive remediation.
• Develop, enforce, and update security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR).
• Perform risk assessments and security audits.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and cloud teams to embed security best practices.
• Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends.

Required profile

• 4–10 years of experience in information security.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network, application, and endpoint security.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CISM, Security+, OSCP) are a plus.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms: Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel.
• Vulnerability management tools: Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite.
• Cloud security experience with AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
