Cybersecurity Analyst (Analyst I)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst (Analyst I) to join our defence‑focused startup. You will protect our next‑generation unmanned platforms and autonomous systems by monitoring, detecting and responding to security threats across networks, endpoints and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts on networks, endpoints and cloud services using SIEM and other tools.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits to identify risks.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and support remediation efforts.
• Configure, manage and tune firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection and other security solutions.
• Document breaches, assess impact and collaborate with IT and development teams on mitigation.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and incident response documentation.
• Stay current with emerging threats, compliance requirements and industry best practices.
• Assist in risk assessments, disaster recovery planning and contingency preparation.
• Perform ethical hacking simulations to test system resilience.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for cybersecurity.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Good written communication for reporting incidents to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
