Custom Software Engineer

About the role

As a Custom Software Engineer you will design, code and enhance software components that integrate across multiple systems and applications. Using modern frameworks and agile practices, you will deliver scalable, high‑performing solutions that meet specific business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Develop and maintain custom software solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Optimize integration flows for performance, reliability and scalability.
• Document code changes, development processes and technical specifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Participate actively in team discussions and become a subject‑matter expert.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• 15 years of full‑time education (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree).
• Ability to work independently and contribute to problem‑solving.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Knowledge of integration patterns and middleware technologies in SAP environments.
• Understanding of cloud‑based application development and deployment.
• Familiarity with API management and service‑oriented architecture (SOA) principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimise integration flows.
