Custom Software Engineer

About the role

The Custom Software Engineer will design, develop and enhance tailored software solutions that integrate across multiple systems and applications. Working in an agile environment, the engineer will use modern frameworks to deliver scalable, high‑performing components that meet specific business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Develop, test and maintain integration components using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Ensure software quality, performance and reliability through continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and incorporate them into development processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• 15 years of full‑time education (equivalent to a bachelor's degree).
• Ability to work independently and become a subject‑matter expert.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Experience with integration patterns and middleware technologies in SAP environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud‑based integration services and API management.
• Familiarity with agile software development lifecycle and CI/CD practices.
