Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Construction Project Manager leads end‑to‑end execution of large‑scale building projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site walk‑throughs to monitor construction activities against approved plans.
• Allocate labor, machinery and materials efficiently to maintain workflow.
• Track progress using work breakdown structures and project dashboards, holding teams accountable to schedule baselines.
• Enforce occupational health and safety standards and perform continuous quality checks.
• Manage project cash‑flow, monitor expenditures and prevent cost overruns.
• Oversee contractors, sub‑trades and suppliers, ensuring contractual compliance.
• Handle change orders and negotiate design modifications.
• Ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes and environmental regulations, securing necessary permits.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and resolve on‑site disputes.

Required profile

• BE or B‑Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 8–10 years of core construction experience, including 5–7 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in real‑estate development, mass housing or building infrastructure projects.
