Construction Manager – MEP (Commercial Interiors)

About the role

Zyeta is seeking a technically strong Construction Manager – MEP to lead the execution and supervision of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works for commercial interior fit‑out projects. The role requires hands‑on site experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise complete execution of MEP works at project sites.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and shop drawings before execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, project schedule, and quality standards.
• Monitor installations of HVAC, electrical, fire fighting, fire alarm, ELV, plumbing, and BMS systems.
• Conduct daily site inspections, resolve technical issues, and prepare progress reports.
• Plan manpower, material, and equipment deployment; ensure timely procurement of MEP materials.
• Verify measurements, contractor bills, and maintain project documentation, RFIs, inspection records, and as‑built drawings.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag closure, and handover while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in MEP execution for commercial interior fit‑out or workplace projects.
• Strong technical problem‑solving ability and excellent site supervision skills.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and ability to manage multiple subcontractors.
• Detail‑oriented, quality‑focused, and capable of leading a team.
