Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager leads construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance. This role coordinates all phases of building and infrastructure work while maintaining regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules for each project.
• Oversee logistical requirements and create comprehensive work plans for construction teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work, verify materials, and monitor progress.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and health guidelines.
• Select, hire, and coordinate subcontractors, managing their schedules.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report project status to clients, third parties, and senior managers.
• Review timings, budgets, labor, risk, and project plans to keep work on track.
• Interpret contracts and technical documents for team members.
• Respond to delays, emergencies, and other disruptions efficiently.
• Conduct quality assurance and safety inspections.
• Maintain and update scope of work and pre‑construction documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Three or more years of proven experience managing construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

• Expert understanding of building products, construction details, and relevant regulations.
