Construction Manager – Industrial Projects (Vizag)

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale industrial civil projects in Vizag. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement and contract administration while ensuring safety, quality and timely completion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of civil construction projects from initiation to handover.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets aligned with client objectives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, consultants, contractors and site supervisors.
• Monitor progress, milestones and deliverables to keep projects on track.
• Manage procurement, vendor evaluation and material logistics for cost efficiency.
• Administer contracts, review variations, and coordinate claims and billing with QS and commercial teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and statutory regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify workmanship and design conformity.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation and contingency measures.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants and internal stakeholders for clear communication.
• Support project close‑out activities, including documentation, handover and final settlement.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of relevant experience delivering institutional, residential, commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience managing at least 4‑6 end‑to‑end projects, preferably with a Project Management Consultancy.
• Strong technical awareness of civil, electro‑mechanical and architectural works.
• Excellent organizational, attention‑to‑detail and communication abilities.
