Construction Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

The role leads the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) function within the construction division, reporting directly to the Head of Construction & Subcontracting. It is responsible for delivering E&I projects safely, on time, and within budget while ensuring compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Overall in‑charge for execution of Electrical & Instrumentation projects.
• Manage contracts and oversee project delivery from the head office.
• Plan and implement project execution strategies, selecting appropriate organisations and introducing new machinery to boost productivity and quality.
• Coordinate and resolve extra claims, contractual disputes, and verify safety and welfare of site personnel.
• Source and augment manpower from India and other nationalities, optimise the mix of resources, and arrange logistics support.
• Review, finalise, and manage outsourcing of services, sub‑contracts, and testing facilitators.
• Ensure statutory compliance throughout the project scope.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing Electrical & Instrumentation projects.
• Strong background in contracts and project management.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and resolve contractual disputes.
• Knowledge of safety, welfare, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience in resource planning, manpower sourcing, and logistics coordination.
