Construction Lead – Civil (Solar EPC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Lead – Civil to manage and deliver all civil and structural works for utility‑scale solar EPC projects in Gujarat. The role covers site preparation, foundations, plant infrastructure and ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review civil and structural drawings, scope of works and contract documents to understand the full civil scope.
• Develop detailed civil work schedules, define milestones, and plan resource requirements.
• Estimate quantities for earthworks, concrete, reinforcement and prepare BOQ and material requisitions.
• Supervise site grading, earthworks, foundation works, RCC/structural works, internal roads, drainage, fencing and equipment foundations.
• Manage subcontractors, civil labour and site supervisors to ensure execution per design.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural and procurement teams where civil works intersect with other disciplines.
• Conduct quality inspections, verify material compliance and enforce safety protocols.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders for permits and site clearances.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction for ground‑mounted or utility‑scale solar EPC projects.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, codes and regulations.
• Excellent planning, scheduling and quantity estimation skills.
