Construction Contractor – Site Management

About the role

Bhagwati Constructions is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Contractor to lead daily construction activities in Jamnagar. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising labour, materials and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and execute construction drawings, specifications and quality requirements on site.
• Organise daily work schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress against project timelines.
• Supervise on‑site teams, manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Track budgets, control costs and report financial status to project managers.
• Resolve on‑site issues promptly and communicate updates to clients, consultants and suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Contractor or Site Engineer on building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage on‑site teams and coordinate subcontractors.
• Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Basic education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field (practical experience accepted).
