Computer Science Teacher (PGT)

About the role

De Paul School is seeking a qualified Computer Science Teacher (PGT) to deliver CISCE‑aligned curriculum to students from Standard 7 to Standard 12. The role focuses on core computer science and AI concepts, programming, and the integration of technology into classroom learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging computer science lessons for secondary and senior secondary classes.
• Develop and update curriculum plans, incorporating AI, programming tools and educational technology.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Facilitate practical lab sessions and guide students in project work.
• Participate in departmental meetings, collaborate with faculty, and contribute to school‑wide academic initiatives.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
• Prior experience teaching higher secondary (PGT level) students, ideally within CISCE or similar boards.
• Strong subject knowledge in computer science and ability to support related mathematics concepts.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with educational technology.
• Experience using learning management systems.
• Ability to work with programming tools and environments.
